Audioslave combines Tim Commerford, Tom Morello, and Brad Wilk of the now defunct rock band Rage Against the Machine with ex-Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell to create one of the baddest rock machines ever!
Audioslave created the smash hit single "Cochise" shortly after joining together in the fall of 2002; it was followed by their self-titled album containing "Cochise" and "Like A Stone," which propelled the album to slot 7 on the Billboard Top 200 that same year. In 2005, Out of Exile shot even higher, reaching the Number 1 spot on the Billboard 200!
