Georgia-based alt-rockers Collective Soul have enjoyed commercial success throughout the 1990s and into the new millennium, recording seven #1 mainstream rock hits. They broke into the public eye with their hit single "Shine" from their debut album Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid, released in 1993.

Collective Soul made their comeback in late 2004, releasing a number of albums in the following years, and touring their "asses off." The band has started recording a new album, and is shooting for an August release.
