Train Tickets

Train was formed in the early 1990s in San Francisco by the original members, Rob Hotchkiss and Patrick Monahan. Train performed mostly in cofee houses and local clubs. The band started to take shape when Jimmy Stafford joined as guitarist and Charlie Colin joined on bass. Later, Scott Underwood joined as Train's drummer.

In 1997, Train started their first tour, opening concerts for Counting Crows, Barenaked Ladies, and others. Their hit song Meet Virginia from their 1998 debut album put them on the map, and the rest is history!
