The Fiesta Bowl is played annually at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The stadium (which has a capacity of 63-73K seats) is one of the most high tech stadiums in the World, and is famous for its retractable roof and field that moves in and out of the stadium.
The first Fiesta Bowl was played in 1971. And over the years the Fiesta Bowl has had a number of corporate sponsors, including; Sunkist, IBM and Tostitos. The Big 12 conference is aligned with the Fiesta Bowl, which means a Big 12 team is slated to play at the Fiesta Bowl if that team is not picked for the BCS Championship Game.
